President Biden mentions Laken Riley during State of The Union address

Just about two-thirds of the way into his State of the Union last Thursday, President Biden reminisced about the May 29, 2022 trip that he and the First Lady took to Uvalde, TX, where they "spent hours with the families."

Just five days earlier, 18-year-old Salvador Ramos, a former student at Robb Elementary School, entered the Uvalde school with an AR-style rifle, fatally shooting 19 students and two teachers, and injuring 17 others.

The Presidential visit was, of course, the decent and appropriate thing to do. However, it was anything but a condolence visit to comfort the grieving families. The First Couple went to the trouble of making the trip because certain members of the administration heard the term “AR”, and saw it as a political opportunity.

Nothing else.

I promise I’m not looking to get into a 2nd Amendment thing here. I just want you to know that the Uvalde visit had nothing to do with providing solace to the families.
