The Democrats' war on women

If you watched President Trump’s address to Congress on Tuesday night, you were, of course, treated to members of the opposition party brandishing signs with silly —in many cases, meaningless— slogans.

If you tuned in early enough, you also got to see Texas Congressman Al Green politely escorted from the House Chamber —along with his prop of a walking stick, which he never seems to use for walking— for refusing to abide by established rules of propriety.

If you watched the whole speech, you got to see Trump refer to Elizabeth Warren as “Pocahontas” as she took a break from her cell phone to applaud the prospect of the war in Ukraine “going for another five years.”

You also witnessed the entire Democrat caucus display a complete lack of empathy for the families of Laken Riley, 22, and Jocelyn Nungaray, 12, both of whom were brutally raped and murdered by illegal aliens who entered the US courtesy of Joe Biden and his failed Border Czar.

Of course, you also saw their inexplicable disdain for DJ Daniel, the 13-year-old aspiring police officer suffering from cancer who received an honorary Secret Service agent badge.

Though you might have been a bit distracted by all of that Democrat jack-assery, you may yet recall that the president reiterated his push to bar biological men and boys from competing in women’s sports, reminding his audience that he’d already signed two executive orders to that effect.

However, because he made no mention of it, I’m inclined to believe that the president was unaware of the fact that, about an hour before he began his address, the Senate had voted down the Protection of Women and Girls in Sports Act. Despite all 51 Republicans voting in favor of the no-brainer of a bill, it fell short of the 60 votes needed to clear a filibuster.
